This ancient silver Denarius hails from about 90BC. It features the winged horse, Pegasus, who carried Zeus’ thunderbolts and helped Bellerophon defeat the Chimaera. The reverse shows young Bacchus, god of wine, vegetation, and festivities. A slim 18K yellow gold bezel holds the coin and an opening bail allows it to be clipped to any of our chains, cords or beaded necklaces. Due to the nature of ancient coins, each pendant is unique.
